I got my tubes burned in 2001. Is there any possibilities I can still do a tubal reversal? If yes is there any type of insurance that covers or should I finance ? I liketo learn more about this procedure. I want to try to get pregnant again. please help.

Hello,I had my TR Dec.19 2009 and it wasnt by Dr.Berger but a doctor by the name of Bernard L Rosenfeld of Houston Tx. Im so anxious to become pregnant again I was told everything looked great and that I was ready ,Ive never had any problems geting pregnant Im 30 and Im just wondering if you could tell me how long it might take .My gyno told me that the results arent that great but ive done research and it seems the odds are good can you shed a little light for me?

If you have a copy of the operative report from your tubal ligation, you can fax it to me directly at 870-934-9211. In 98% of cases, the doctors here are able to repair the tubes, even in difficult or unusual situations.

Rosa: If you have one ovary remaining, it is still possible to become pregnant after a reversal procedure. If both ovaries have been removed, it would not be possible to conceive a child. Do you still have one ovary remaining?

We offer discounted fees of $5900 for Dr. Berger and $4900 for Dr. Monteith. The fees are all-inclusive, so there are no surprise costs after you pay for the procedure.

For patients interested in long-term payment arrangements, however, we offer a pre-payment plan or financing through MedChoice Financial. With the pre-payment option, patients can pre-pay the surgical fee without interest prior to the surgery date. To utilize this option, a non-refundable $250 fee is mailed to us at: Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center, 109 Conner Drive, Suite 2200, Chapel Hill, North Carolina 27514. At that point, an account is opened in your name and payments of any amount are made as you are able — for as long as you wish. For the most part, all insurance companies offer coverage for reversal surgery if you are willing to pay the extra premiums to add it. Buying insurance is like buying a car in many ways. You can choose various “extras”, including maternity, etc. The problem with signing up for new insurance and asking for tubal reversal coverage, is the company is likely to include an exclusion or have a long waiting period since they will know you are planning for the surgery.
