		<description>Dear Michelle:

Thank you for the update. We keep records on file for about 18 months, so we would not longer have your reports in our office. However, we do not need a copy of the records to proceed. This is especially true if you have had a clip procedure since this technique generally damages a minimal amount of tube.

Dr. Berger is able to repair the tubes in 98% of cases and we are happy to schedule you for surgery, even if your records are no longer available.

Please call Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center for a free consultation - (919) 968-4656</description>

		<description>Hello,
In 2006 I contacted your office to inquire about Tubal Ligation reversal. I even went so far as to send you my medical records of my procedure, and you advised me that I was a good candidate based on your looking at my records. My husband and I had to put the reversal on the "back burner" so to speak, due to some financial difficulties. I wonder, how long do you keep such files on record, or would I have to again obtain my records of my tubal, to start the process again? We are again interested in reversal.

Thank you so much,
Michelle M.

		<description>Dear Rhonda:

Thank you for your message and your interest in tubal reversal surgery. Generally, clips and rings provide the best situation we see so this is excellent in terms of reversibility and the likelihood of subsequent pregnancy following the reversal surgery.

During this procedure, a plastic clip is placed across the tube to prevent pregnancy form occurring. Fortunately, this generally damages a minimal amount of tube leaving adequate tubal lengths remaining for the sterilization reversal procedure. For additional information and an
illustration of this technique, please click on the link below to review the page of our website with information on the ring technique:
http://www.tubal-reversal.net/tubal_ligation-tubal_ring-tubal_clip.htm

You can see the pregnancy rates and birth rates among our tubal reversal patients according to their age group and method of tubal ligation at these pages:
http://news.tubal-reversal.net/pregnancy-study-2007-pregnancy_rates.htm
http://news.tubal-reversal.net/pregnancy-study-2007-pregnancy_outcomes.htm

Dr. Berger and Dr. Monteith are the only doctors in the country with a practice that is limited exclusively to untying the tubes after a tubal ligation. We offer a low cost, outpatient procedure that has resulted in the most tubal reversal babies born worldwide!

If I can assist you with questions or with scheduling surgery, please let me know.
