The answer is “yes” and does happen quite frequently according to pregnancy reports received by patients of Dr. Berger and Dr.Monteith. After having the tubes untied it is recommended that patients wait until after their first menstrual period before trying to conceive to give the body adequate time to heal. There is no reason to avoid intercourse until this time, but birth control is suggested.
